I'll be travelling through Hohenfels on vacation this summer and will have a Spaten in your name.

Still pretty hard without the R...
We're a rare breed. The last name is actually Scottish. I took a fun trip there with the family while I was in high school. There's a castle and everything. It is pronounced "weems" and there is actually a branch of the family that spells it that way. My core family is from Gallatin, Fairview was in the family for a long time until my great-many times over Aunt died. Their money was from Genesco shoes... the auditorium at Vol State in Gallatin is the "Wemyss Auditorium".(vader @ Mar 23 said:I work with a dude with a last name wemyss here in TX. The first time I saw your username, I did a double take.
(Rabidvol @ Mar 25 said:I chose my name because I have always been an intense, competitive Vol fan...I appear to be just a regular person, minding my own business in life, until I get involved with my Vols...then I become an out of control, crazy person who appears to be rabid...my son often comments on the craziness and said to me while we were at a football game, "Mom, if you continue to run your mouth and be crazy and provoke a fight, then I am the one who will have to fight...nobody is going to take on an old gray haired woman." Of course, I had every confidence he could take those 100 or so Georgia Bulldog fans!!!!
