Your way to early 2015 Mock Class.

You may be right, but I just can't see them taking Williams over Jennings if it came down to that. While I know Williams has the better arm, the way I look at it, neither of them would likely ever be a full-time starter at UT. As a second QB in the class, they would both be insurance policies. But Jennings' policy pays out better. Again JMO.

The major difference could come down to Jennings would not walk-on and Williams just might. Williams does not hold any other offers right now but UT. As of now I don't think UT can use 2 ships on QBs this year. Maybe that changes closer to NSD, but IMO it would work out great to sign Gentry and then Williams agrees to walk on.

He wasn't in my list. I doubt he flips from UGA apparently he likes Pruitt a lot. Also any S looking in will see the depth chart and be turned off. I think we get one high 3* to low 4* S and that's that

I just notice Rico on 2 or 3 guy's drafts. Pure madness I say!

I did not include Jennings because IMO the coaches will not take him as a QB. I am leaning to thinking that Matt Williams will be a Vol. That may be on scholarship IF possible, but more than likely as a walk-on. IF he gets any other decent offers, that could change of course.

Williams got a UT offer and has said since he is "All UT". I get the feeling that one may already be locked up.

IF Jennings decides he is open to playing S early on, I would have him on my list in place of Griffin.

Jennings is a take at QB over Williams.

No offense to Williams, but he wasn't starting at Blackman. He got passed up by another guy that wasn't Jennings.

You may be right. I know Williams offer from UT is at QB. I'm not sure that the Jennings offer is.

Just because Williams does not have the stars next to his name, does not mean the staff may not like him better. Consider the stars next to Moseley's name last year vs a Smith, Lammons, and others we were in on.

We'll see what happens.

Between now an NSD, we will lose several more players. Every year, the roster is thinned out.

Maybe one of the q.b.'s will transfer, once the depth chart is settled at q.b.

Maybe one of the runningbacks who will never see the field once Paulk & Hurd are healthy will transfer.

Any player who is buried in the depth chart and doesn't even play on special teams will no doudt contemplate a transfer.

We will probably lose 2-3 during August two-a-days. It will give the guys buried on the depth chart a chance to play for the UTC's and Tenn Tech's of the world.

All I want is a QB that can hit a 15 yard out with zip on the ball instead of skipping it to the receiver on a hop.:)

Ok so I'm gonna butcher this, no pun intended.

(1)QB - Gentry
(2)RB - Weber, Love
(3)WR - Williams, Jefferson, Rahming
(0)TE - none
(5)OL - Jones, Stewart, Richmond, Harrell, Jackson(maybe DL)

(2)DE - Kyle Phillips and Andrew Butcher.
(3)DT - Mckenzie, Settle, DJ jones
(3)LB - Cherry, Dews, DeBerry
(2)CB - Micah Abernathy, Ugo Amadi
(1) S - Jennings
(1) ST - lovinggood

Total : 23

I see this being realistic and a very solid recruiting class.

We lost among others, Booth, Brown, Lambert, Mouhon, and Cory Thomas from our list in 2014 so I have no idea yet who we will sign but I think we need about 30 more highly talented guys to fill out my 3-deep for 2016. Hopefully we'll get the bulk of them in this class. :)

Would be an awesome class. Very realistic too.

I'm predicting things don't work out there. Just a prediction, so don't flame away.

Hope that does not happen. If your saying the coaches don't honor their promise of a scholarship if he took a GS, that would be a recruiting disaster going forward.

I'm not saying I like it, but ask Nicky Saban how disastrous these scenarios have been for him.

When your winning/playing for championships, you can get away with a lot more. When your fighting for a shot at the Music City Bowl, not so much.

I'm betting there would be some Alabama football players/commits back around the beginning of the Saban era who might disagree with you. That man was just as ruthless early on as he is now, that is how they turned it around so quick. Just saying.

How many recruits did Saban ask to GS his 1st year at bama then decided not to honor the promise of a scholarship? Just curious if it actually happened or your just making it up.

He isn't greyshirting. He is delaying enrollment till next January if we still take him.

Well, with what Jerome did to earn a chance to be a Vol and what his family had to say on here, I for one hope CBJ is not so shady as to hang the kid out to dry like that. He had other options he could have taken last NSD. Not taking him in 2015 would be down right shady as hell IMO.

I'm confident CBJ would not do that to the kid. IMO he signs with UT in the 2015 class.

Oh look, it's this discussion again. The one where we accuse our coaches of maybe, possibly, perhaps doing something shady. Yet, there's no evidence of that happening. None. Another broken record.
