You're OC, what's your endzone play calls?

I wonder how many reps per week are spent with Worley under center handing off to Hurd. I bet not many. Maybe Hurd, because of the crowd noise, didn't know he was getting the ball...if not, he gave Worley a poor pocket.

I had no problem with the first down pass call, but I think on 2nd down, probably just try to QB sneak a little breathing room or stay in the gun and try the quick passing game. I have to tip my hat to the UGA special teams guys for making a good play and putting us in that position.

What set would you line up in and what play calls do you make?

Do you line up in the shotgun with zero backfield blocking and once again put your players in a VERY VERY risky low percentage situation?

It's just purely unbelievably irresponsible

We can't even hand the ball off. That was the difference in winning and losing this game. We can cry about play calling and what ever else we want to but thats what lost the game for us.

I was saying we should throw it 3 times but that's a tough call for the OC. Really hard to make the perfect call in that situation.

Not a lot of room for error with 5 true freshmen on the field, on the road, on our own 1.

Don't blame him one bit for running.

I use a QB sneak to get the ball off the 1 yard line

Every frickin OC in football makes that call to give your team a little more room to operate
Normally. I'm wondering if Worley's injury played any part in them not calling for him to keep it.

Playcalling is more suspect with poor execution, Hurd didn't know the ball was even coming to him. IDK what the Oline thought was called. It didn't seem to matter most of the game.

Gurley running loose lost the game for us but that fumble sure didn't help, not to mention letting Worley get blitzed and hurt by not recognizing what Ga. was doing, over and over again.

You have to execute. They'll go back again and clean up the mistakes and get better. That's what you do with a young team. They played much better vs UGA than OU... and will probably take another pretty big step forward against UF. Some of you folks really need to sober up and calm down.

Quick slant or try deep ball again...keep in mind though that worley called the run audible. Play calling wasn't that bad imo.

Do exactly what the Vols did and hope your RB hangs onto the ball. Then get a few yards and make third down a shorter down. Like someone else said, just execute and we're fine. Vols are gonna win next week and we'll move on from this.

I would sneak to get a yard or two on 1st or run from a jumbo package with someone in backfield to block.

I would NEVER line up in the shotgun and handoff to a lone back with zero lead help.

If I did, I would expect to be reprimanded by my head coach.

That play has probably about a 5-10% chance of gaining positive yards from your own endzone.

Its irresponsible

NOT one quick slant all day...............c'mon bajakian, and you don't run a read option w/ a QB who has not played all day to get a feel of the game..............was it me, or did anybody see how far off the GA db's were playing.............bajakian, just throw it out there and take the 5 yards everytime..........and when they come then you go over the top

Well you don't check off that's for sure. Especially on the road. Just run the play called. Quick hot pass to the tight end is hard to stop.

No, you use a QB sneak at the other goal line. It does'nt give you the room you need at your's. What you want there is a 4 yard completion with a 5 yard ATC yards. So you just grew 10 yards or so. Then you pick at them with crap thats hard to stop. WE CANT RUN DOWN UGA"S THROATS!!! So you figure out a way around that. I'm so disgusted.

most of you would piss on yourselves trying to coach at this level....pathetic

It would'nt be much different than what we see now would it? Face it, UGA is so beatable they are just asking to be slapped around. Our coaches PISSED on themselves today....period.
