Judging from that he was only planned to be up for very short time. Remarkable what he has done

Won't surprise me if he is sent down anyway though.

Arizona's ERA leader this season is at 4.37. The other 2 qualifying starters are worse. The only starting pitcher who has done anything is Robbie Ray. In 11 starts he has a 2.70 ERA.

I don't really follow the MLB but in his first start the announcers mentioned that this was something that Arizona was trying this year to change the mental aspect of the staff. Godley is not the first one they have tried like this. They posted the record of the guys that had made debuts this season and they have won every one of those games.

Yes but many organization are very stubborn with their plans for guys. IMO this magical run will end as soon as a healthy arm is back available. Seems crazy but I am afraid that is what will happen

Tough crowd here. Anyone who can finish 6 innings of a MLB game and get a win did a great job. Glad to see Godley doing so well so quickly.
