ABC has killed a few shows I've liked the past 5-6 years.

They had a show in 2006 called Six Degrees that was somewhat supernatural, but closer to the show "Touch" on Fox right now that I thought was really good but it was canned after 1 season. Plus I'm not sure they ever showed all the episodes.

Same with FlashForward a few years ago. They showed the whole season, and granted the writers seemed to run out of ideas quickly, but I thought that show would be the next Lost.

in case anyone cares and didn't notice before now, they did end up showing the rest of the series once the real season ended and they're all on ABC on demand now. looks like they did the same things with a few other shows too

All of the alphabet networks want to catch lightning in the bottle and be the next "X-Files".

However, they lack the real commitment to creating the right atmosphere and get writes who are on the edge and real music that adds to the mood.

All of the alphabet network shows are in the broad daylight, use regular music that can been heard in any TV show. Notice that the great shows on FOX and AMC utilize darker sets and mix in daylight and night scenes that add to the ambiance. The alphabet networks don't have a clue.

I just got caught up and the story gets much better with what it reveals about the midway point. There are actually a few more new episodes still to be shown. For some reason I've generally enjoyed shows and movies that have to do with 50+ years ago Europe and conspiracy type stories. I'll definitely finish it out.
