In my small town 3 blacks have been killed by blacks the last month..
THEY are having a Travon march tomorrow you think they would have a black on black crime march on each other killing each other.. Get some attention on that. Nobody gives a blips azz about Travon case,,

If Andre Canty wants to prevent more of these tragedies, as he says, then he is doing exactly the wrong thing...lying about what really happened.

The Zimmerman trial is producing a national discussion about "stand your ground" laws. Here is a new poll which shows how Americans view them. 67% of gun owners support such laws. 53% of voters support them. 57% of Whites support, while 57% of Blacks oppose. Most Democrats and females incline to oppose. The poll does not include homosexuals, which strongly incline to oppose if the opinions I've seen on the internet are a valid measure.

The best part is that the Zimmerman defense didnt use SYG. It's helped more blacks than any other race.

In other words, the media has diverted the conversation away from the real issue. We need to be talking about bringing people together, not showing even more artificial distinctions between groups.

The Zimmerman trial is not bringing people together. Black leaders state that it must be seen as a racial issue.

Agreed, but it could be a catalyst to better understanding and better cooperation among all Americans. But, in order for that to happen, someone might have to give up a long held opinion that has kept them in the public eye for decades.
