What are yall’s thoughts on him as coach? Would he be a good fit at Tennessee or is he way past his prime?

Why would it be anyone on planet earth but freeze? He’s one of the most proven guys out there. Literally...based solely on coaching talent he’s got to be a top 5 coach in America. It’s a slam dunk. The dude grew up and began his coaching career in Tennessee (Memphis) and has called tn his dream job. I couldn’t possibly give a rats a$$ less that he called some damn escorts while he was at ole miss.

In his final days at Michigan he did some weird stuff but I cannot remember the details. Something about orchestrating some prayer services for his job on the Michigan campus or something similar. Maybe someone can remember it. I was also a WVU fan so I was pro Rodriquez at one time. Hadn’t thought about him in years.

Let’s put an end to this.
Rodriguez's former administrative assistant filed a multimillion-dollar claim accusing him of sexually harassing her and creating a hostile work environment for years. Rodriguez was fired on January 2, 2018 after a three-month internal investigation by the Arizona Wildcats. He admitted to having an extramarital affair, but denied all allegations of other sexual misconduct.

Nah. I wish he would have stayed at West Virginia. He had things rolling there. But it doesn't seem like he's been able to get things rolling since.

And to think he almost left those mountains for Tuscaloosa.
Must of been the work of Satan

I’ve come to realize our fan base is/are idiots. They dig in to stupid decisions, scoff at out of the box suggestions that could fix our situation, and would rather just slowly fade into oblivion.

Hugh Freeze would be the best case scenario, and, well—we make bad decisions. Like firing Fulmer in 2009. Worst decision a program has EVER made. Not even arguable anymore. We saw what happened.

That was in December of 2006... and damn, I wish he had taken it.
He did take it, Mal Moore wanted to hire him and then the boosters stepped in and told Mal Moore if he valued his job to rescind the offer. He did, boosters hired Saban and the rest is history. That will happen here when Tennessee get serious about football, if ( thats a big if ) Hugh Freeze is hired here it won't be because of Fulmer it will be because someone with a lot of money told Fulmer to stay out of the way.

I agree. But, he got lucky with Pat White, who was a very, very good college QB. Players like that make even a mediocre coach look good.
