5* SC PG Josiah James commits to Tennessee

Who should they hire if it came to it?
Coach K
Izzo
Roy Williams
Cal

Who exactly?

Texas not a good basketball school? Oregon? Marquette?

The Kansas coach or the Villanova coach are not leaving to come to Tennessee. The Villanova coach wanted Tennessee years ago. Dickey said no.
Musselman has like a 90-20 win-loss record with experience in multiple Nba position’s. Will be the perfect target when coach barnes retires. Which hopefully is Still some years away.

Well, they're a top 10 team.
Nevada has 8 NCAA tournament appearances in their history. Tennessee has over 20. ETSU has several more then Nevada. Texas has a final four. Louisville has won a few titles. Marquette has a National Title. Wyoming has 15 and a Final Four and a National Title. Tulsa has as much success as Tennessee. Oregon has 2 Final Fours and a National Title.

His only other HC experience is Golden State for a few years. .43% winning %. Don't think anyone if calling him the Wizard just yet. But many of Tennessee's basketball hires where more regarded then him.

Are my eyes deceiving me? Is this THE Dallas Bowlin??

It doesn't matter their history. It matters what their current coach is doing now, and what he's continued to do recruiting wise.

But this is josiah’s thread. If you want to continue this discussion head over to the regular posters thread.

Dallas is absolutely correct. Who cares if Wyoming was good 60 years ago? Nevada is good right now, and Musselman is the reason why.
