I thought so at first, but changed my mind. There was helmet contact, but our guy was not leading with his helmet. You don't tackle standing straight up, so yeah, the helmet was forward. If you look at the words for the penalty, I don't think that play rose to targeting. jmho

Hooker is very good, but Bryce Young made our defense look flat footed. He did get hammered hard a few times, but if there was any space at all he just ran around the guys coming at him.

He is the best we’ll face. He did his thing, but it wasn’t enough. We have better horses this year.

They got called a lot, but they were valid. There was some missed against UT, but also some missed on Bama.
I actually watched their forum more this game, they complained about refs all game. And apparently they hate Gary as much as we do. I always hate Gary drooling over Bama, but apparently to them he does that for us. I swear it’s like the twilight zone over there. They are apparently the most hated team in the country, and it’s a struggle every week, but yet very cocky
