Actually the tournament is everything in college basketball and where you finish in it should matter. A great year is to be at least one of the final 4 teams. Do you think NC State supporters think they had a bad year because the regular season record was not that good ? No they think they had a great year with a final 4 appearance.

Well of course NC State thinks the tournament performance is the barometer. They did well. And yes, a lot of folks get hung up on the tournament. But for me, it’s logical to think that performance over a 30 game full schedule and an 18 game SEC schedule is a better indicator of strength than some team getting hot for 4 or 5 games in a system where your draw makes a big difference. Not to mention beating Bama twice like a yard dog. We were a better team than Bama and that is indisputable.

His unrealistically high ranking of bama and low ranking of UT gave bama more points than us. He should be barred from voting and tarred and feathered.
