Just hope he plays well enough to remain on the list. That would mean we have had a pretty nice season all things considered.

We’d probably need an 11-1 season for him to win the heisman. He’s a good QB and he will have big stats. But we won’t go 11-1

Yeah, he’d at minimum have to have a game for the ages against bama or Georgia and win and make it to the SEC Championship game or miss out with Georgia going undefeated and make the playoffs and just have unbelievable stats and bama and Georgia not have someone with a Heisman type of season. Don’t see it.

At this point, we don't need him to win, though would be awesome. But, just getting him to New York or if he finishes close in the mix means we've had a pretty good season, and certainly a HUGE recruiting tool for JH.

I can't understand or maybe I just don't want to but all the love going out to South Carolina in preseason polls and the discussions for next year is incredulous. I like Beamer, but this shows what ending with a bowl win does for the talk. Its going to be interesting to see if the Rattler's game is as deadly as they are hoping it to be.

Gonna be pretty much impossible for Hooker to win it without at least winning the SEC East. That's certainly doable since we return most of our starters, but it's a tall task with Bama, LSU, and UGA on the schedule. Pretty much have to go at least 2-1 in that stretch while beating the rest of the East.

Also, LOL at both UF QBs having better odds than Hooker. I don't want to totally disregard them and Napier is an offensive minded coach, but giving them better odds than a returning starting QB in one of the best offenses in the country seems really dumb.

I can see it now,place kicker from Iowa State become 1st kicker to win Heisman due to two 70 yard field goals,Hooker finishes second.

Beamer is a media favorite. If he falls next season the sharks will. Start to circle.

It will be a new offense for Rattler for sure. But Beamer already coached him before, so there is probably a bit of familiarity there. And Rattler was one of the best QBs in the country in 2020. Definitely seems like a good match on paper. We'll see how Rattler handles the speed of the SEC on a weekly basis.

So they are both gonna win the popularity contest, and how come they both sit at better odds? That suggests they will have a better year. I thought we were supposed to beat them next year?
