Except for undefeated teams, almost every team "backdoors" their way into championships. You probably believe that a 3 pointer at the buzzer is worth more than a 3 pointer in the first minute of the game.

About as much as I believe that foul half way through the first period is worth what that foul is with 2.3 seconds left.
