I am perfectly fine with a team that wins regularly, competes for SEC titles, and makes the tournament every year. It’s fine that other fans are only happy with more. That’s our choice as fans to decide what expectations constitute our fandom.

Winning ugly is always better than losing pretty.

But, man, that was tough to watch. I hope we don’t have any more games where our offense goes AWOL like that. Seems like that was an issue last year too at times. Need to maintain some consistency!

You don’t think people should be happy about beating a quality ranked opponent to remain in 2nd place in the SEC? Would you rather us be miserable and cut our wrists?

Some people have trouble defining how to deal with the realities when goals are not met. NOBODY is wanting this game to be considered an instant classic, but the program is better served with a win instead of a loss. NO NEED for FANS to REPEATEDLY feature moral losses, those that do ARE WHAT THEY ARE in the eyes of those that read or hear their outbursts.

If our guys all shot their average every game life would be pretty good.... the timing of the real world peaks and valleys of squad members is what it is. All on, life is wonderful, see MS ST home game film. All or most off and you get results like FL and AU, prefer the AU outcome as a fan. Would really prefer the guys to not be synced up as they have been. Having rotating one or two guys hot per game would be better when you feature balanced scoring like we do. Bet we see some games where our OVERALL shooting percentages look pretty good again too.
