I see a lot of overtime for law enforcement this fall. Between enforcing mask wearing, social distancing, possibly no tailgating and all the other covid restrictions along with the standard parking tickets, vehicle towing, etc. there will more cops than fans

Even though there will be no fans in Neyland and no tailgating, UT football wants to make sure that you can still experience an Authentic Vol Game Day experience. So they are instituting the new VirtualVol Hame Day Packagemaker ™️.
Participating Vol Fans will be charged $20.99 for a flat coke and a cold stale hotdog delivered to their front door. They will also receive a bill for $100 for prime parking in their own driveway to be close to the Virtual Gate 21. To complete the experience, a special timed kick will be placed in your bathroom door to ensure you have to wait in a virtual line for 20 minutes to pee. The lock will also only open at critical times in the game, forcing you to chose between relieving yourself and watching a first and goal opportunity. In other words, you can still experience all the ambiance of the Neyland experience you know and love, even in these “challenging times “

Only packed stores I have seen are Costco and Home Depot. Most people I know are using delivery services and they are great.

You haven't been anywhere much? Walmart is packed, Publix, Food City, Most of the "Dollar" Stores , Lowes, And I don't get out that much.

How about “protests”? Against Bama or whomever we play of course? 😉

Bammers WILL Tailgate. I have to hand it to them; they aren't gonna be totally dictated to.

Why do say that? Cases going down

SOME are hoping for No Football. It boggles the mind. Same as the FDA refusing to allow the Henry Ford Health Systems to use a drug that they studied (over 3,000 HUMAN Participants) and found a 71% cure rate. You can figure that one out.

Publix, Wal-Mart both counting a limiting entry to 50%. No Food City where I live. Winn Dixie, Piggly Wiggly both are not very full at all. Kroger has been the best of all in my opinion but I hit newer stores. I've been working most all of these and classified essential so yeah, been everywhere and have employees that recycle greases for biofuels from these stores so your anectodal experience is bad, but you "don't get out much" so not surprised. Screw Lowe's

Are you saying that 29% of the participants died that used the drug or were never cured? I think I would take my chances NOT using that drug!!!

You forgot about the part that the package includes 3 drunk rednecks who will come to your house and stand in front of your TV the entire game, spill their drinks on you and scream at you to stand up.

I heard someone ask months back about tailgating, and the reply was no way. I never really understood why ten people (usually family or friends) can't hang out before the game, yet pile in the stadium by the thousands. I'm hoping a vaccine comes out soon, so Karen and the anti fun police can take a break.
It'll happen after first week of November

All three bars remaining on the strip (and Cool Beans) are going to be very practicing very responsible social distancing measures on September 26th.

I'm assuming that this decision does not bode particularly well for having fans, even a diminished capacity of 20%, lining the stands of Neyland.

The bars at gatlinburg sure practiced social distancing. It will last as long as people are sober.

You left our the part where they also send you two wide pelvic devices that scrunch against each of your hips so you experienced the seating experience.

I feel like Vol-Navy should use this as an opportunity to recruit as many as possible to tailgate in the water.

Imagine this. Every boat owner in Tennessee...Yachts, Bass Boats, Ski Boats, Tugs, Canoes, Kayaks, Sailboats of every variety, even replicas of roman war boats, pirate and viking ships gather outside the stadium on the river at gametime. Please. Everyone wear life jackets for this.

That does sounds like a blast.

We might just pack a picnic and eat it sitting outside the back of the van down by the river instead of having the tailgate down on the truck while sitting and eating and such.

Publix was packed yesterday; Doubt there is a 50% moratorium . Same with WM and Lowes; whatever your beef is-------. Also, All 3 Seafood restaurants I passed today on the Causeway had full parking lots. Friday night, the Casinos were jammed. So I guess I do get out some. Of course, we live in two different worlds.
