Marietta, GA- A few weeks ago it was revealed on Volnation.com that Kell high safety standout Brian Randolph had four early favorites. Well only a few weeks later he has trimmed that list in half. His goal is to make an early commitment before his senior season starts, so being named an early leader carries significant in his recruitment. Here’s the latest with him.
“Yep I have narrowed it down to two for right now. Georgia Tech and Tennessee. I like both of them a lot early, and they are equal to me right now. I am trying to decide before senior season starts but we’ll see what happens.”
Right now the star athlete is currently involved in track. When he’s not at track practice or at a meet, he’s usually in school. It does not leave a great amount of time in between for visits and camps.
Soon track will be over, but spring football will take it’s place. So the plan for Brian is to visit the two schools in the summer, and any others he may consider.
“My weekends are tied up with track meets so I’m not able to make it over for any visits or any camps right now. My plan is to visit the two schools and maybe a couple of others, then make my decision.”
Brian decided to reveal what he likes about each of the top two schools.
“Tennessee they have a big stadium. they play in front of 100,000 plus. And it’s only three hours from home. Coach Joseph is recruiting me from Tennessee and I really like him.”
“Georgia Tech, I like the coaching staff a lot. I know lots of people who go to Georgia Tech and it’s also close to home.”
Brian continues to attract a lot of recruiting attention, but mentioned his parents are handling most of the recruiting details.
