They seem surprisingly rational, realistic and levelheaded over there (except that it'll be Milton throwing the 75 yard TD if it's Q3 or later).
Lol..I almost feel bad for them...and then I remember all the disrespectful 💩 they have happily and enthusiastically shoveled on us for the last 15 years..and then I just say to myself in my best William Wallace voice.."BURN IT" 😠

The football playoff was created to make sure a team like UT didn't get left out. If it were OSU, Bama, or Clemson with our resume they would get in without a doubt. IF we go out there and beat South Carolina and Vandy like we should, we should get in. They can't start valuing the conference championships so much where it's used to get a subpar USC or Clemson in over us. If TCU goes undefeated they deserve to be in there.

USC hasn’t beaten anyone in the current Top 25 CFP rankings. They play UCLA next week who just lost to a team with a losing record, so they should plummet in the rankings.

I just don’t see how you put in USC over us if we both finish with 1 loss.

Exactly. Conference championship games provide an opportunity for a team to get another quality win, but it doesn't completely make up for having no resume. In some conferences, championship games dont even give you an opportunity to face a quality opponent.

Agree and to be honest Hooker doesn't read defenses "great" because he still misses a lot of wide open receivers so I don't think that would be a huge fall off.

Milton just has to learn to take some heat off the ball in the right places. And our WRs better be on the jugs machine this summer like Hyatt catching balls on the highest speed to get ready.
And I’d ask you the same question - can you provide examples from this season of Milton throwing everything 100mph? Strikes me that he’s shown dramatic improvement in his “touch” passes this season over that glaring lack of touch the prior year?

Seems to be that many on here struggle to view Milton on this year’s performance as if the real Milton was last year or his time at Michigan and it’s impossible that he may have improved.

Every Vol fan will tell you different, but I prefer a more competitive Auburn, as they play Georgia and Alabama every year, just like UT. Tennessee doesn’t play Auburn every year, and they’re always going to be a threat on the recruiting trail, dysfunctional or not.

The silver lining is that it’s a kick in the nuts to Ole Miss and their fans are taught another lesson to know their place in the college football landscape.

I am in the same mindset. As long as the rivalry games stay yearly, a good Auburn team helps UT. Auburn also is the biggest threat to UGA in recruiting as well.

The real nut kicker would be Kiffin going there, getting them rolling them replaces Saban at Bama. Talk about taking that rivalry to 100000000000

Perhaps he saw something our/my untrained eyes didnt.

I saw the same thing on the replay and didnt get it.

Could have been simple too, unless we have an angle from Hendo's perspective it's really hard to tell what he saw or didn't see.

NFL has a "behind QB" camera they'll show sometimes, I know I remember one play in an Arizona game where from the TV angle it looked like Murray ignored a wide open slant across the middle. Then they showed the QB angle and you couldn't even see the WR because of where the pocket had collapsed. So it would have been a blind throw.

I still don't see why anybody would willingly walk into that dumpster fire. Their expectations are unrealistic and their patience is even shorter than most. He could just hang out at Ole Miss and go 9-3 or 10-2 every year with an occasional run at the playoffs with much less drama. Whatever though. If Killin wants to jump into that bucket of crazy then more power to him.

It's his ego that does it. Ole Miss likes to win and their fans will show up to most the big games, but they generally don't care. Other than Vandy they may honestly be the most apathetic fanbase in the SEC.

That sack he took on 4th down sucked though..he had Hyatt running free to the middle, and instead of pulling the trigger he chose to wait on Keyton to get open deep, he didn't and time ran out, and so that sack was not on the OL...it was all on him.

I don't like criticizing Hendon, I love the guy, but he can't make those mistakes again against UGA if we are going to win...WRs running free happen way less often.
I agree. If it's 4th down, and the first down opportunity is there, you take it. As important, don't take a sack on 4th down. Throw it up for grabs at the very least and see if your teammate can make a play or get a flag. Don't just take the automatic turnover.

HH isn't a mistake-free QB. It still doesn't mean he starts slow.
