The orange helmets and orange pants are going to look so great on Saturday night. I’ve been wanting to see orange helmets during my entire fandom.
Yes! My favorite away uniform is white tops with orange pants. Best away uniform in all of sports. Can't wait to see what the orange helmet looks like.

That one was awful, but I think Lane was referring to the play where, after being sacked and the play blown dead, the Alabama defender pushes Dart's helmet to the ground when standing up, and then forcefully shoves it into the ground one more time for good measure. I'm pretty sure the announcers excused it, too.
It was double the effort if not triple that Darrel Taylor had against bama that time and they threw the flag on us. This was an actual personal foul they didn’t call and it was typical bama bias.

Parents of VN, y'all got any advice for going from one kid to two? My wife is due any day now. Our son just turned 2 about a month ago.
Every kid is different. So your second won’t be like your first most likely. Different personality, different sleep patterns, different likes/dislikes.
Second, we always talked positively to the existing kids about how much they were going to love the new addition. Kind of preparing them to share the love. Let them be involved where you can. Make time and give attention to the older child when you can. Sometimes you can’t, but give where you can. Also, take some time with your spouse when you can. If I think of something else I will add it in later. We have 4 and the youngest is seventeen (2 months from eighteen).
They all get along pretty well so we must have done some things right.

get them on as similar of sleep schedules as possible. we have a 3 month old and a 2 year old and the fact that they go to bed and wake up around the same time is a blessing for our sleep and sanity. We're huge on structure and schedule with both kids and getting a very strict sleep/eat schedule is how we have both kids sleeping 11-12 hours a night. both kids took about 2 months after being born for them to be sleeping 8+ hours a night uninterrupted. "moms on call" book was a big help with guidance on how to establish the schedule.
Good advice if you can. My second didn’t sleep through the night for 15 months. When he was twelve months, I started training him to sleep through the night(after weaning). He woke at 1 every night. I would make him lay down and it took 3 months. Third baby came 3 months later.

I've mentioned it before, this is the exact vibe I get from him.

Stat takeaways:
  • Mizzou blitzed 75% of the time and got 4 sacks
  • Tennessee averaged 9.7 yards PER PLAY
  • Hyatt averaged 14.6 yards PER TARGET (not per reception)

Those are ridiculous numbers. Here are a few more:

The Vols ran 31 total plays in the second half and averaged 11.6 yards per play. They averaged better than a first down every time they snapped the football.

Tennessee scored five touchdowns and kicked one field goal in the second half. The time of possession on those six scoring drives was as follows :25, :41, 2:20, :57, :27 and 2:30.

Video game stats. No one believe you if you told them this was an SEC school against a non-Vandy SEC school. . . I'm not even sure you can score like that in video games anymore.

The most frustrating thing about the basketball team is ORN. Dude is an oaf to put it mildly. Hasn't really improved in 4 years and the team was better without him last year. Would not mind seeing him on the bench

What have you seen in Milton’s play this season to arrive at that conclusion? I’m not sure he struggled reading defenses last season as it appeared to be accuracy issues were the problem then. The accuracy has markedly improved in the very limited sample size this year. The “soft” running has changed as he’s started looking to truck guys. I’m not saying Milton is a can’t miss qb next year, but saying he can’t read defenses appears unfounded IMO. Please point out examples of his poor reading of defenses to support your criticism of Milton

To be fair, Milton has improved - he was Guarantano bad at Michigan - or worse. First, I think those criticizing Hooker and his skillset and mental ability to play qb within this system are judging unfairly. If not the best qb in the country - he is in the discussion and certainly one of the best 3, He is really, really good and is probably the only qb I know that when the quick screen is called in the flat, can simultaneously read where the defenders are in relation to our receivers and can draw back and run for what he can get, instead of flinging it out there and hoping for the best.

I don't think Milton necessarily goes through progressions - with his receivers - doubt he visualizes where the defensive backs and linebackers are - seems like a look deep first kind of qb much like he was last year. If the receiver is open deep - he can definitely get it to them, but that seems to be his strength. He does do well in the pocket and obviously has the ability to scramble if need be. The game I was paying particular attention to him, was one in which it didn't look like he was reading the defense at all when handing the ball off on the option. Granted, we don't want the qb running a ton, but you still should be reading linebackers and d- ends. It's a basic part of the package.

i hope he proves to be all world and becomes a first round draft pick, I still think he may play more like Richardson at Florida - than like Hooker at Tennessee.
