I can't recall how many times I saw Joe throw high balls yesterday that receivers had to stop and leap into the air to catch. That's not on the receivers, that's on Joe. That kind of inaccurate passing is the difference between last year's highlight reel offense and what we've seen this year. Yards after the catch have been non-existent because Joe simply cannot hit receivers in stride. He's improved, but he is still not good enough to get us where we want to go. I don't see any reason not to let Nico have playing time with the starters against Vandy. We need to play for the future now so we don't have to keep seeing an inferior product on offense.

At this point, it is what it is. Nothing will change at this point. Just roll with Joe and hope for the best. He seemed somewhat on edge/nervous yesterday for some reason. Hesitant to run and as you pointed out, he reverted to overthrow Joe at times. Not sure what got into his head, but something did. Maybe Mizzou rattled him...and the team for that matter. Pretty sure our coaching staff was shocked and never seemed to recover. For me, the season has come down to surviving UGA, beating Vandy, getting a head start on next season in bowl prep and praying for a pedestrian bowl opponent who lacks toughness and speed. 9 wins looks mighty fine to me right now.

12 of his 14 completions were also no longer than 6 yards past the line of scrimmage. The TD catch from Thornton was just an amazing grab from the receiver.

In his defense, he didn’t force Keyton out of bounds on a breakaway TD….. he didn’t make S. White drop a key pass and he didn’t fumble in the red zone right before the half.

Joe, with all his flaws, also had no help from the O-Coordinator. The playcalling yesterday was atrocious. The slant, which many teams have beaten TN with, was open all game. Mizzou was playing soft zone coverage. DBs were 3-5 yards off the receiver most of the game. The playcalling lacked ingenuity.

Yesterday was a complete road game disaster. I can’t believe how the team did not perform. Worse performance I have ever seen.

Joe is a reliever that only throws 98-101 fastballs. Unfortunately, we need the smoltzie that knows the difference when to throw the heat and when to go with an off speed pitch.

He looks down his receivers and then guns it. He’s a thrower… that’s all. He has an NFL cannon, with zero awareness and ability to use his strength .

He about got himself smashed yesterday from being indecisive and then running for two yards and falling over backwards.

Joe is a good serviceable QB, no more no less. Not a top level guy. In his defense he has not had great receivers most of the season. Things went down hill in the passing game when Bru went out. Brue was Joe's confidence guy.

You serious ? YAC are non existent because we don't have Tillman or Hyatt. Hell just yesterday you saw Keyton step out of bounds on his own on a perfectly thrown ball. We don't have many weapons out there.

If Joe is the problem, then we have a lot, both offense and defense and coaching, he is not alone

The fact that you are pretty much blaming Joe for everything is sad.

It’s always the same. State the obvious about Milton and they always say it just your football IQ. Why don’t you Milton lovers come up with something new and original. For instance you could say the detractors are racist, or trolls,or negavols, why must it always be ones football IQ ???

Didn't pay enough to see if he offered any specifics but Heupel said Missouri showed them some things they didn't expect on defense in the post game presser.

Adjusting and making quick decisions isn't a strong point for Milton to put it kindly.

Apparently threw the staff a curveball too.
