UTs strategy is much better......I'd rather be talked about because of the product on the field and the class of the program.........

but the old adage of, "any publicity is good publicity" and Oscar Wilde's quote, "The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about" has merit.

People were talking after the debate. People watched it, watched the post-coverage. Dissected and discussed it.

I see them dropping that game in a close one but getting better as the year goes along. Next year they could be a playoff team with the amount of talent they have and I do believe Elko is a great coach.

If someone told the buffs they are going to have the same record in 5 years as they did 2 years ago (1-11), but in those 5 years, they will have a huge roller coaster of media & sports fans attention with a huge mosh pit of money to fall back on. Will they take it? Hell yea and so would a lot of individuals in this forum.

Colorado has virtually garnered nothing (wins, money, attention, n’ chips, bowl wins, fan support, etc.) in almost 30 something years, outside of 1 big 12 champ. win (vs. tex) and you say they can be worse. You just speaking outta emotion & hate for deion.

Please explain how colorado can be in worse (practically & realistically speaking) position than I detailed in my previous post. According to ppl who are follow their program, it cant get worse than what it has been.

Opposing fan bases was saying the same thing about us 4 years ago, now look at us.

My fear is that my performance may degrade too much over time that I can't see the writing on the wall and that Freak will disable my account out of disgust. The love of the game can keep you in the game too long, and what was once beloved becomes tolerated, and even despised at worst. Although "my all" is not as much as it once was, I will once again give my all to the recruiting forum again this season. Trot me out... let's go.

Not disagreeing. But they are a product and watching the same way that the Kardashian's were a product that people wanted to watch. Bottom line is that it is a money maker. And for many that is really all that is important.
