Cora Hall is predicting a win for us tomorrow.

Tennessee 83, Auburn 68: The Lady Vols enter the lighter portion of their SEC schedule in February, and they have all the motivation to start it off on the right foot. Tennessee should beat Auburn decisively, especially at home, and get some confidence back before facing Ole Miss and Alabama.

In addition to the strong play of Auburn forward DeYona Gaston and the absence of guard Taliah Scott (injured wrist) (both of whom have been discussed by posters here), Cora singles out

Freshman Yuting Deng, who enrolled early in January, has been a key addition for the Tigers in SEC play. Deng, a 6-foot guard, has experience playing for China's U24 national team in FIBA 3x3 competition and has given the Tigers a shooter in Scott's absence.

Deng has earned a starting spot and has averaged 10 points and two rebounds in 21 minutes per game. Deng has shot 41.4% on 12 made 3-pointers.

Maria Cornelius reports that our Auburn game tomorrow will be the Lady Vols' annual "Play4Kay" game, which raises awareness of cancers affecting women and funds for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. A legendary coach at NC State, Kay Yow died of breast cancer in 2009.

LVFL Kamera Harris will serve as analyst on the broadcast.

"I think it's an amazing initiative," Tennessee Coach Kim Caldwell said. "I think anytime you can fight a disease that claims so many and affects so many lives around you, it's worth notice, and I'm happy that we get to be a part of it."

Quite likely. Every one expected us to smash Mizzou but that game was a dogfight. In this conference, the expectation should always be for tough games.

If we had a consistent team would be a lot more confident. It being a home game we should win we have more talent. Just don't ever know if were going to be throwing up bricks at the rim. Miss a bunch of layups and free throws cause that is what will make it close. If it goes in reverse we make all those shots we win big . We should out rebound them bigtime and I also see us turning them over quite a bit.

Cooper needs to get her teammates involved not try to do to much. Kim needs a class on decision making for a few of the players.
