So, the question posed is, once she gets top-level talent and has less of a need to raise the ceiling of her team, will she adjust her system to make it less susceptible to upsets? I’m not advocating for it or against it, I’m just curious to see whether it happens.

Great thoughts! Georgia certainly was the outlier this year. I kind of thought that may have happened because they were tired and rundown. They played a pretty tough schedule this year. I don’t think that will happen as much when she has all the talent and everyone’s used to her system. I may be wrong on that though.

I just don’t think people really remember when you get to a certain point in the tournament. We have a certain segment of fans that still oogle over Pearl. He made the EE by beating SDSU and Ohio in the first two rounds.

I agree that KC has done a remarkable job, but the standard is eventually more with the LV’s. Even our recent history has shown that.

Pearl was a better recruiter. He was an elite closer. His culture was sloppy. He was a mediocre X's and O's coach. And he was morally the lesser.

Neither has amazed in the Tourney.

6 in one hand, half dozen in the other.

2) If Coach Barnes wins it all with what is basically a 8 man rotation will that be the greatest coaching job ever? Certainly my life time, and it’s very possible. I really believe we can beat both Kentucky and Houston, as long as Chaz don’t have an off night like a few times in conference play.

If we get past UK and Houston to the FF 4 against Duke we’ll have a real good chance to beat them. I think UK and Houston is tougher matchups for us than Duke

@Glitch with regards to your cat…. Your daughter feeling ill and your wife helping her likely freaked the cat out. They can sense illness and they know when we are freaking out and it freaks them out. Top that off is they’re keyed into strange movements. IOW your cat was probably as panicked as your wife about what was going on with your daughter. If it’s never done anything like that before I really wouldn’t expect it to again.

Cats wear their emotions on their sleeve if you know how to interpret them and kitty not being bothered afterwards pretty well means she was freaking that her humans were distressed. I had one cat that stopped an argument between me and the other the half by getting between us letting out the saddest meow you’ve ever heard.

Agreed. We have had multiple people ask us what we are going to do with her...We are like, what do you mean? She is our cat. She may be a bit eccentric, but we aren't going to just toss her or give her away. She comes and sits on our laps and does weird cat things. She isn't mad at us or scared of us. It was just a perfect storm of emotions and events. Thanks for the reply. I hope you are well and you OH. I haven't been on much lately so my apologies for not being more up to date.
