I can assure my attitude and posture in person would be the same as it is now. I find it hilarious you are struggling with being asked to back up your statements that YOU made. No one knows other than the group who did the investigation, which happens to be the school itself. It was determined that it was “not within a university program or activity.” So, specifically within that language.

Of course you are defending your coach as a fan. Just like rival fans criticize it. I would love to see him file a defamation suit. I bet it never happens. First, it’s a difficult suit- hard to prove it as a public figure. Second, anything that did happen will all be fair game within discovery. It’s not my area of law, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn one time.

If it was as wide ranging (number of women) as the school paper reported, I’m shocked there was no mention of the anonymous women being interviewed offering/showing screenshots or the paper reporting they were offered screenshots/photos of the allegations.

Given how these college kids are nowadays, i find it hard to believe not one instance of screenshots being taken and subsequently turned over to the investigation being reported.

Once again, you can choose to not be objective on the subject but you can’t claim I’m biased or tilted just because I’m responding to someone to back up their statements and then ask again when they choose to ignore being called out all while said poster is typing up comment after comment in the same thread.

It is possible to be a Vol fan who hates all things Florida and Golden AND be objective without bias.

Agree with that to an extent. Maybe that’s why the school found no wrongdoing because the women had no physical proof. I don’t see why multiple girls would lie though. Will be interesting to see if he does any defamation lawsuits then everything will be fair game and out in the open.

The notion I’m white knighting anything simply because a poster made a claim of mountains of proof of something and then gets worked up when I ask them to simply link or post examples is moronic. Not once have I taken a stance on the actual topic at hand.

And once again, accusations and allegations do not mean guilty until proven guilty. Apparently asking for proof or asking someone to back up their statements that there is overwhelming proof is apparently being a supporter of sex offenders….

Can you link where the student paper has reported they have proof? Since the testimony said it was done via instagram and social media, that would means screenshots of messages and DM’s. That’s the one thing that would really make the case. The article posted above to the student paper did not report there was evidence from the anonymous women, but only their testimony.

And a Title IV investigation is not a criminal investigation either so not really sure how deep UF went also or wanted to go in this. They can’t subpoena phone records.

Duke…is scary. I don’t think Bama is a fraud necessarily, I fear duke is just that good. Long, cerebral, talented, and disruptive. After watching this one, I think they take it all. But BOY would I love for the Vols to be the ones to give them hell!

Screenshots would not have much value once they are released. Until then they are a negotiating point…if they exist. At this point, it doesn’t seem that we can say anything with certainty except that he does not seem to be guilty of a Title 9 violation.

I believe Golden was only cleared of Title 9 violations and that's all the University investigated. UF determined that Golden didn't sexually harass anyone as part of a school program or activity. Not that he didn't do it at all. There's nothing illegal about hitting on 18-20-year-old girls, sending the d-pics without them being asked for is potentially criminal as is the alleged stalking. It's behavior that would get most 40ish-year-old coaches fired immediately. It was noted by a lawyer in the case that there was "certainly evidence questionable activity occurred." The university also refused to release the actual evidence and even the complaint. I'd be surprised if the newspaper didn't at minimum see the messages from Golden. We'll see if there's ever a lawsuit towards him. He claimed he was going to sue for defamation but that never materialized, as then all the evidence would hit the table one way or another.
