I find this quite ironic. On December 4th of this year our athletic director and other members of the administration will be in New York at the College Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony to talk with potential candidates for the Tennessee head football coach position.

The reason they are there. To induct Coach Phillip Fulmer, the coach Tennessee fired.

Ironic.

Can anyone confirm that Hart made a strong push for Gruden last night in New York?

Heck offer Phil with the fact we keep the O in place and get Derek Mason, Steele, or Shannon to coach the D

Quit living in the past.....painful, but time to move on in hopes of finding a good coach that can put us back on track.

This just in. My cousin talked to CH (asst AD) in person yesterday. CH said " we are going to bring a coach in here that provides stability and gives renewed excitement to our football program. I have never seen a TN secondary get outrun like it did this year. It will not happen again." Take from it what you will. I'm sure he knows something we do not. I know its not that informative, but it is solid. Also, my cousin got his pic taken with McCullers(who had 5 power aids) and said he was not in quite as good of shape as he expected, but said he was working his butt off. None of the other players wanted to be bothered

I have said it before, say it again. When a coach wins 75% of the time, they are hard to replace.

It is hard to understand how some people who are supposed to be UT fans continue to put down Coach Fulmer.

I believe he had lost his drive, and it was time for him to step aside. I wish he had done it on his own, and not have to go through what he did.

Having said that, he did a fantastic job at Tennessee over a long period of time. He deserves the honor he is receiving, and he deserves our thanks and respect. There has never been any doubt that he truly loves Tennessee.

I spoke with him a few weeks ago in Lawrenceburg, Tn where he spoke at a FCA banquet. He did a great job, and it was clear he still loves UT.

It was time for him to step aside, but it will never be the time any Vol fan should disrespect him. He gave his all for us on the field as a player, as a coach, and he continues to be a proud Tennessee Vol.

Thanks Coach, and may God continue to bless you and your great family.
