If they make the right hire for the soon to be vacant mens basketball coaching position, then the program will pay for itself.

don't worry about paying your basketball coach $2,000,000.00 when the basketball program generates twice that amount.

Hart won't make that move though. He will go in the wrong direction and hire a mid major coach whose team made the NCAA this season and pay him a small amount and Hart will be surprised when we have an underachieving team again.!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if Bruce will be back or not. However, at this time, I wouldn't rule anything out of happening.

I heard a rumor that Gruden was definately coming to coach the Big Orange because he had property in the area and his m-i-l lived in the area.

I really like Coach Martin, but he just doesn't appear to be the solution long term. Coach Pearl may be the only iconic figure that UT can get for this program. And this program needs that because it helps with recruiting, TV exposure and brand.

Cuonzo Martin is a good man and was also a good player at Purdue. I remember watching Purdue beat Kansas at TBA in the '94 Sweet 16. Glenn Robinson had 44 and Cuonzo had 29 and Purdue won a great game 83-79. Gene Keady gushes about his character and there is no reason to question his integrity or work ethic but he just wasn't ready for the challenges of this job (and it is not an easy one). He had an exciting, up tempo and winning brand of basketball to follow from a charismatic coach. He followed with a slow, plodding and grind it out style that was never going to appease the fans. There was nothing in his coaching history that should have given an AD confidence that he would be successful here. This is Mike Hamilton's failure not Cuonzo's.

Look I want Pearl back and so does a bunch of others. Hart says he listen to the fans well we want Pearl. So lets boy-cott games to show our voice matters. Its just a thought!
