‘18 CA CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart (USC signee)

I can see it, but the way he's used his visits and bringing both parents (who live in different states) to check us out....I think he wants to get away from Cali and play in the SEC. Hope I'm right!!

Well I admit at one point I thought og was more attainable...and we had no shot at its...

And now that's done a 180...

So we'll see. I think #'s wise it's certainly working in our favor for its, if he really wants to leave California.

And I'm still not 100% convinced og is completely out of the picture...

I'm in the exact same boat. I thought this guy wouldn't give us the time of day and that we would likely end up with Griffin. Recruiting is nuts, isn't it? :hi::hi:

It is. I'm pretty excited about the prospects of landing a class that ends on a...,
Young
Peterson
Walker
Stuart
Copeland
Corbin
Beal

..,,note.😀👏🙏. And as we sit here today.,. That's at least possible...if not a tad likely...

Throw in a wonnum or otito and .....🏆🏆🏆

Never underestimate a last weekend OV in Knoxville.

...said every school who has the last visit.

Would be so weird to back our way into signing a 5 star CB. Let's get weird!

I can only commit to being 65-70% weird.

I am so weird that this one must be in the bag.

I'm a freaking Miner for Truth and Delusion so I think I can make up for any lack of weirdness in any of the rest of you MFers.

Deleted. What’d it say?

Don’t know why he deleted it. Danny Parker tweeted something about rolling out the red carpet for ItS, and ITS retweeted it saying something like “it’s where it’s at”

The tweet was like 1 min old when I posted it so for whatever reason he tweeted it then deleted immediately

must be missing something but byrd doesnt look slow to me

Apparently, go watch him play in the games, he rarely gets open.

If he is one of the fastest players on the team then that certainly helps to explain why the Vols were 0-8 in the SEC last season.

Getting open as wr is way more than speed... its technique, craft, iq, awareness, route configuration, spacing etc...

Osborne is as talented as anybody.
Shamburger was a good find by Butch, but Osborne should have been starting last year.

He's got to step up. Shamburger to me looks like a guy who could play that bandit position Pruitt loves to use (Ramsey, Fitzpatrick)

BB, me and you have different philosophy on DBs

To me explosive offensive skill players make the best CBs or FS.
(Option QB, Speed RB, WR) The best a athletes on the field should be at CB.

Isaac is the best athlete playing high school football in the country imo. His physicality is average. Hips are about right for an athlete his height. Still...both of those will improve very quickly with the coaches. We have now.

What you can't coach is
6'2"

4.25 speed with great instinct.

What good is 6’2 and 4.2 at CB if they can’t flip their hips and stick to a WR?

And he doesn’t look more athletic than Campbell at all. Tyson Campbell looks the part in game. Speed, hips and physicality are all there. And he has a documented 10.4 100m time. Can’t coach that at all.

Why would I want an explosive offensive guy on defense who doesn’t want to tackle? This not the PAC-12. What happens when Najee Harris runs to the edge? Will you make the tackle/slow him down or let him go 70 up the sideline?

We’re not gettin Campbell. At this point it’s ITS or bust. I’d rather have ITS than to strike out, wouldn’t you?
