‘18 GA WR Jordan Young (FSU signee)

Young has emerged as one of the top statistcal receivers in the state of Georgia. He has insane hands, outstanding body control when near the sideline. He does a great job of tapping his toes staying in bounds. All-around he is just a phenomenal athlete who is just gifted at what he does. His route running is getting better each week, and he displays the ability to change directions really well keeping his hips on a swivel. Young plays with a lot of urgency and keeps his focus up high. On a side note, he looks to be a really good punter, dropping the ball consistently inside the 20. He has good speed off the line, enough so that when he breaks back on a comeback he is wide open. He is currently leading the state with 1562 yards, on 66 catches (23.6 ypc) and 17 touchdowns.

Wonder what that school's classification is? If it's a small school getting overlooked is common. No camp or no big school = no rankings

I live in Conyers, Ga and our high school football programs are not great. We've had 2 great players come out of Conyers in the last 8 years. Not bad competition but not great either.

Weird. Sad offer list. No recruit ranking.

I guess I need to remind myself that I trust this coaching staff.

we offered, but I've got to believe that if we get Copeland and JJ comes back Coach Pruitt may have other positions of need in mind...and,

GO VOLS!

Gault was an Olympic caliber high hurdler, correct?

You could be right. I thought he was a sprinter.

Bottom line is that you don't play on a bad team and post those kinds of stats against good competition... and not have "hands" and physicality. You may not have refined skill yet... but if you do that you have some extraordinary raw ability.

His athleticism is confirmed by winning the state 6A championship.

I hope UT signs this kid. It sounds like one of those rare occasions when a legit 5* talent escapes everyone's notice.

Are they recruiting another Conyers area player? Seems like a Nose guard we are after is from there.

Edit: Nope Getting first names and home towns confused.

Interesting on Young, Auburn and Ohio State have called this week according to his coach. Now, they have been out of school all week so the coach hasn't visited with either school face to face.
