Told you elsewhere around here that I wouldn’t get my hopes up for this year (half our damn staff was still working elsewhere after the first ever early signing period). That said, I’m an idiot and started to get my hopes up this last week.

Resetting now, can’t wait to see next class when an early signing period actually works for us and not against us. Butch absolutely had to go but we got a little shlt on by having the coaching transition also coincide with the first ever year to have an early signing day. No guarantees but I’d love to have seen what this staff would have done when not one guy was official until February.
