‘18 GA WR Jordan Young (FSU signee)

Price and Simonton now saying they can see a scenario where UT offers Kurott Garland (Young HS teammate) to help with Jordan. Considering the need for at least 1 more DL to finish off this class, it might not be a bad idea.

Just catching up. So Young is holding us hostage for his teammate now? Good times.

Our luck he'll commit when we offer and FSU will flip both of them on signing day

I’d be fine with it. Young is a special prospect. Garland would be worth the risk considering our need at DL.

If the 25 number is set in stone and can't bank spots for next year I see no reason why we wouldn't be interested in a package deal.

I do find it interesting VQ said a month ago we wouldn't only take highly rated guys. We have seen that fall from the way side

Oh well. We Vol fans should be used to this type of thing. I doubt Pruitt is though. He is used to getting basically whomever he wants.

This HS coach of his really did him a disservice. Kid is probably reeling right now. He could have had more time to parse through all this. I guess we just pressured him to commit and Taggart used that against us very well.

This is what concerned me about the FSU visit. Had he been a kid who went thru the process and saw a lot of the recruiting side of things ahead of time, then committed to Tennessee, then the visit wouldn't have concerned me as much. But the fact that it all happened so fast for him, that visit really concerned me. And for good reason it would now seem. Hate that we likely miss on him.

Had a buddy in HS who got letters to camps all across the country. Never camped though bc our HS Coach told him not to worry about em bc he’d “take care of the recruiting.” Wound up playing at ULM. If I knew what I know now I would’ve drove him to Knoxville myself. Seeing that orange letter in the mail was pretty cool...

This kids’ coach probably did something similar. Happens all across the country. Tons of untapped talent out there.

If it was Tennessee he would’ve shut the rumors down today officially. FSU bound.

Honestly, believe he is a vol. He just wants that recognition of announcing on signing day. He just started getting offers so hasnt been able to feel the hype around him. CB prediction: TN

From what I can tell there is zero risk in taking the DL. Doesn't help us to save the scholly. Just cut him after 1 year if he can't play

That’s not the Bruin I remember.

They do away with backcounting? So basically if you don’t sign 25, you just lose those spots?

CBs starting to roll in for WR Cedric Tillman, offered yesterday. Good size 6’3 200

This kid I should lucky he didn't end up at Georgia state BC of his coach. He's a special wr and almost got overlooked. NO idea about FSU's depth but he could've pushed to start here as a freshman.
