I think so too

Noles make him out like he’s Urban, Saban, Kirby etc lol But Jimbo was a savage and one of the best closers of all time

FSU wasn’t even it for guys like Marvin Wilson and Cam Akers till a month or so before NSD and he stole 2 of the best in the country both from out of state

And those are just guys I can think of atm he did this consistently tho

Oh yea and Mullen coaching in SEC West for 9 years vs the stops Taggart lol yep one side definitely has an edge on exp coaching big boy football

Plus UF brought in decent talent while playing the worst most boring predictable offense in cfb

Mullen will walk onto that field in the spring and see so much more talent then he ever saw it Miss St

But hey go with your narrative UF will suck despite the fact they couldn’t made a better hire to fix QB/offense troubles

And when UF has an exciting offense look out boys and girls they will be flocking to play in the spread o that won 2 titles

Fact is Taggart built up USF and had one good yr McElwainish there but he recruiting really well one yr at Oregon

Fact is Taggart is all hypothetical and an absolute down grade from Jimbo

While UF undeniably upgraded from that goofy bastard Mac

You wanna bet?
Fsu has everything he needs there and he has a strong backing..as long as he beats miami, uf and clemson he wiwll be fine. 9-10 win seasons can go a long way.

I'm more concerned about what we will do this upcoming season. Not sure how long you care taggart will coach there, they aren't in our conference and we don't play them

Sure, I think Mullen will put a good offence on the field at Florida, maybe his first year there. I also think Pru knows Mullens and his offence, very well. Will Tennessee have the players for implementing enough of Pruitt's game plan to beat Florida? We'll see. What about Florida's defence under Mullen?

Mullen actually took Pruitt to a tie game with 24-24 on the score board and 30 seconds

And we all know one team had WAY WAY more talent then the other

Mullen schemed up 24 points with of a ton of 3 stars against 5 and 4 stars three and four deep

Beating Clemson seems pretty far fetched for Taggart at least at this point

What Has he really done coaching wise? Built WKU to respectability and did the same at USF but better since he actually had one big final year

UT has a coach with a lot of pluses on his side and I hope he does great things in Knoxville for years to come....I wish JP was in Tallahassee...but to say Taggart is overrated????

He took 2 schools from 2-10 to Bowl games in 3 yrs. Not bad.

And Pruitt knows very well what Mullen schemed. My question is not about Mullen's ability to prepare an offence. My questions are about Pruitt's ability to use the talent available to him this year and next year, to do the things he wants to do. His record indicates the ability to make adjustments. Helton's new offence is prolly the bigger question. We'll need the offence to move the chains and score points. There is no doubt that Tennessee has enough talent to win more games this year. Pruitt is the kind of coach who will require all of his coaches to do their jobs. We'll just have to wait and see how well that works out year one.
