’14 GA ATH Elliott Berry (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Out of respect for the family and what they have done for UT you do all you can to make both of them VOLS.If we can sign kids from CAK I think the Berry boys will be good enough. I don't care if they are only special team players. Its about RESPECT for the Berry name.

Yep. Living in VA I can just look down the road to VT and see how they mishandled Dell Curry's kids. First Stephen Curry doesn't get a look and goes to Davidson. When he blew it up his Jr/Sr year his brother Seth was still in H.S. but VT didn't bother with him either. Now Seth is starting for Duke.

If they have any talent at all then you need to do what you can to get them here.

CBJ said in his presser yesterday that we'll have "about 8 more junior days" this year. Sounds like he's going to be bringing in groups of juniors as many weekends as possible this spring.

How many did Dooley have last year? Any idea?

With the work this staff is putting in on the '14 recruits, if CBJ can somehow get to 9 wins it would show an upward trend and really sell these recruits. The potential is here to have something special happen. We just need to start winning.

9 wins is a stretch, we will be lucky to win 4 of these games.

We win 4 of those and the three easy ones we will have 8 wins and it would be an amazing season.

Most likely optimistic outlook is to win 3 of the above games and finish 7-5, which would be huge as well.

Question for you guys..

Is there a restriction on the # of Jr days a staff can hold or is it basically just limited by how much work you want to put into it?

Pretty sure there are restrictions form the TSSAA on sanctioned practice. Don't know how these camps count. TSSAA needs to reform if we are going to see Tennessee kids develop. They are at a significant disadvantage over other states.

I always had trouble with the new math, so I admit that I could be way off here. But doesn't 4 + 3 = 7 still? :ermm:

winning four on that list you have would be nothing short of amazing.

We could very easily lose every single one of them...

Was about to ask the same thing. Also, are Jr recruits allowed any OV's before a certain date or do all Jr day participants have to pay their own way?
