"I got a real good vibe from coaches," the 6-foot, 200-pound athlete said of Butch Jones and company. "They seem to be real passionate about what they do. And anytime you meet someone that's passionate about they do, that's a real good sign."
"What impressed me is how optimistic and how passionate the coaches were about doing their jobs and winning." "I really like how they liked to talk about life after football and getting your academics," Elliot said. "That's really what matters." He added later, "I'm more excited about what (Tennessee has) to offer. Like I said before, anytime you have coaches that are passionate about what they're doing, it rubs off on you a little bit.
"I'm just taking my time," the Creekside (Fairburn, Ga.) junior said. "I'll have it trimmed down at some point, but I don't really know when that is. I'll get it together soon." So far, though, Tennessee has started off on the right foot with another legacy prospect in the 2014 class. "I like their swagger," Elliot said. "I like their swagger."
