’14 GA ATH Elliott Berry (UT Signee 2/5/14)

I have a hard time seeing Elliott and Evan going anywhere other than UT. Auburn was the main competition, and now that they don't have Trooper, I doubt AU has the same appeal to them. LSU might have a slim chance because of Chavis, but I'd say that's the only real threat, IMO.

I hope you are correct!! :hi:

Yes, we've talked to the Berry twins and will have something on them tomorrow. They both really enjoyed the visit. Evan told me the Vols are recruiting him hardest and said the visit was what he thought Tennessee should be like, in terms of being a family. A lot of praise from the Berry family after the visit.

"I got a real good vibe from coaches," the 6-foot, 200-pound athlete said of Butch Jones and company. "They seem to be real passionate about what they do. And anytime you meet someone that's passionate about they do, that's a real good sign."

"What impressed me is how optimistic and how passionate the coaches were about doing their jobs and winning." "I really like how they liked to talk about life after football and getting your academics," Elliot said. "That's really what matters." He added later, "I'm more excited about what (Tennessee has) to offer. Like I said before, anytime you have coaches that are passionate about what they're doing, it rubs off on you a little bit.

"I'm just taking my time," the Creekside (Fairburn, Ga.) junior said. "I'll have it trimmed down at some point, but I don't really know when that is. I'll get it together soon." So far, though, Tennessee has started off on the right foot with another legacy prospect in the 2014 class. "I like their swagger," Elliot said. "I like their swagger."

Ron you left out a big part of that article where Elliott said that Louisville, UGA and SCar. are recruiting him the hardest.

We gotta pick that up!

My bad. Article also said his only offers so far are UT and Auburn with Bama and LSU also in the picture.

LOL @ mods deleting my post twice.

Sorry flowd, it's not personal toward you. I appreciate your contributions. The mods and I are just trying to keep the copy/pasting of premium content under control. Posting an excerpt or summary is typically fine, but we try to review anything that seems excessive. A lot of times the mods will just trim it down, but sometimes if we are in a hurry it might get deleted.

I hope you understand. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions or concerns.

These kids are solid character wise... He is very well spoken for a junior in high school. Even if he isn't what Eric was talent wise out of high school, those types of players that bring 110% everyday and are role models play just as significant of a role as a 5* kid, especially where we are right now rebuilding the foundation of our program IMO... I hope to see this kid in orange very soon!

Question for you Freak, or any mod. Does this apply to ESPN content as well? Or are you guys just concerned with rivals etc?

Good to know, I've probably been pushing the envelope on that a little bit this week.

Yeah it's why I typically post just 3-4 quotes per article. Sometimes I get the deleted post too. Then just trim it down and repost.

Lol I promise I'll lock it up from here on out.

Edit: For the record, only once have I posted the entire article and it was warranted!

agree, they both seem so mature to be 17 years old or whatever. the kind of guys that wont need babysitters once they get to college. really really want to see them in orange.

“I got a real good vibe from the coaches,” Berry told InsideTennessee.com. “They seem to be really passionate about what they do and any time you get someone who is passionate about what they do that is a really good sign.

“What impressed me was how optimistic and how passionate the coaches are about doing their job and winning.”

“That was my first UT basketball game,” he said. “I didn’t really — they told me it was going to be wild, but I didn’t think it was going to be that wild. When we first walked in the fans were throwing newspaper everywhere and all kinds of stuff. It was great.”

“I like their swagger,” Berry said. “Most definitely I am more excited about what they have to offer now. Any time you have a group of coaches that are passionate about what they are doing then that rubs off on you a little bit."

Services want people to pay for the info, but once they pay for it, they can't do with it as they please?

also if they pay sites are so concerned about copy and pasting why dont they format their articles in such a way that you cant copy and paste?

Good thinking

The next step would be using a snip tool and just pasting the image on another forum, but that would help a bit
