No grey or blue shirting then.

They could still greyshirt, in theory, but of course they are not going to. It only changes blue shirting and of course that wasn't happening either.

Thanks for confirming. Agree that they're getting nothing but Orange and White shirting, occasional smokey grey to change it up. :)

"I had a lot more fun than normal because I was able to hang out with current players," Elliott Berry said. "It's also good when you don't have to pay for anything. I don't like too much fan fair so I like to just hang out with good dudes, and I got so many good vibes."

"It's good to get a feel for them as a person," Elliott Berry said. "Sometimes you just click right away and I felt that way with Marquez (North) and Josh Malone. I met a lot of the early enrollees way back when. I've known Cam Sutton for a while now and we have always been cool."

"They really want me to play the nickel spot," Elliott Berry said. "Coach Thig (Tommy Thigpen) and Martinez told me they think I can come in and contribute because of my football knowledge. I talked to (defensive coordinator John) Jancek and I feel like I'm really comfortable because my high school ran the same exact defense as Tennessee does."

Wonder who the last defensive player to sport 21 was. Nice Nice. cant wait for these two.

edit: looks like 1998, senior DB Phillip Crosby wore 21.

This is pure speculation on my part but when I hear someone say they want me to play "the nickel spot", that means THE nickel spot, slot corner.

Could be. I just figured since most are speculating that he'll be a big safety or small LB eventually that nickel LB would be a good fit. Didnt JRM play some nickel LB late last fall at around 210lbs?

I think he did, but he should have played more imo. :)

I don't know about Elliot, and i don't know if the speculation about him playing LB is purely VN originated or if any of the coaches have mentioned it. I just would have expected him to say "nickel LB", if that's what they had talked about. Again, pure speculation.
