Essentially said GT is out, which isn’t a shock...the other 4 all seem to have a unique allure to them, but I’m not sure VT or Clemson match the success of UF/UT that I would assume he’s looking for.

To BTO's point, Kansas, UK, Duke, and UNC have offered a combined 8 prospects ranked outside the top 50 in the 2020 class (per 247), and 6 of those offers are from Kansas. And a couple of those kids outside the top 50 are still like No. 52 or in the top 75 or 100.

Those schools don't usually offer kids outside the top 50 unless they miss on other targets or if they evaluate them and make them a target in the spring.

For further comparison, the Vols have offered 7 players ranked outside the top 50 in the 2020 class on 247. They're offering more highly ranked players than they used to, but they still aren't (and probably never will) be able to offer like the blue bloods do.

Why him? The more I see of Hall, the more I think he's going to be both an instant and long-term difference-maker. It doesn't seem like we see four-year starters that much these days but Hall has all the tools to do it. He's skilled, he's tough, he's a good athlete and he's as likely to start 120 games in college as anybody I saw all summer.

Recruitment: Has a final five of Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and VirginiaTech.

One of the most competitive kids in the class, Hall had a very good showing for his Upward Stars team. While not a super athlete, Hall is athletic enough, he can score on the interior, and really understands angles on the post. On top of that, he is a physical player who really rebounds the basketball, and has great length, which makes up for him being slightly undersized. Hall did show some ability to pick and pop, though his best ability is on the block. On defense he is solid defending ball screens, and shows a willingness to play with maximum effort.

Call me whatever makes you feel better. I said Ill pass on him. I also said he seemed like a take.

I can look at him and tell we probably wont get anyone better so we should take him and also prefer we look elsewhere.

He’s one of the Top 10 hottest girls, continue looking all you want but doesn’t get much better than that. Especially when she’s your type and can cook and clean, but go ahead and keep looking.
