They are exposed to it long before it is ever addressed in the classroom. Maybe what they hear in the classroom can help them better process the porn they just saw on their friend's phone in the restroom. But yet, not only are we discussing this in a classroom setting, but we are opening up their minds to these things they are not mature enough to handle.
Then maybe we need to work harder on getting the filth off the phones. Apparently big tech is quite willing and capable of banning Trump because of “mean tweets”, but they claim to be powerless to stop online porn? I'm good with that. The amount of porn which kids can (and do) easily access is ridiculous. Then maybe we need to work harder on getting the filth off the phones. Every society and religion in the 6,000 years of written human history calls something filth but then in the last 20 years, we suddenly become oh so “enlightened”? By the way, except fo a few hyper liberal Protestant denominations, every major religion in the world is still in agreement with the Lt Governor. They may not use the world “filth”, but they will use the word “sin”. So I guess the Pope is a terrible bigot as well? Most Americans, myself included are fine with a “live and let live” approach to a person’s sexual activities with other consenting adults. But they have no business teaching it to my kids. Keep your bedroom life in the bedroom.

What's odd about the shift towards flaunting to me is, the homosexuals I am friends with are more guarded about the sex life than us heteros.Keeping it in the bedroom or "don't ask, don't tell" was never good enough for libs. Their version is that alternate styles are more correct called "diversities", and diversities should be put on full display and worshiped by all. This more than anything is the root of the current problem. We went from suppressing sexualism - particularly in public and the workplace as sexual harassment to something like suppressing normal behavior but flaunting and praising deviant behavior.

One of my former coworkers that had a second batch of kids later in life spent one summer teaching his two boys the multiplication table so they'd be a step ahead when they went back to school. When they started back to school in theMaybe kids shouldn't have phones as an appendage? I'm amazed at how my generation went through the Cold War and all the other daily crises without cellphones to protect us. You may think it's funny coming from an engineer, but there is such a thing as too much technology. I don't even favor calculators in schools - certainly below high school, and preferably not there either. Of course, considering the new warped methods for teaching math, they may be a necessity.
Consent? You really asked that?Reading the pushback against basic information in here, I'm starting to understand more about why I was given the stink-eye by a room full of parents at my son's school's puberty education information meeting when I asked how much time they would spend discussing consent as part of the curriculum.
The last several verses of Romans chapter 1 tell the story very well. But if you quote them to a lib they literally start pulling out their own hair and shriekingKeeping it in the bedroom or "don't ask, don't tell" was never good enough for libs.
