The way Xmas fell this year on Friday means a lot of people were off through the new year so they all came here for the week. It’s almost as busy as the summer time. We come here every December and every 7th year this happens

Absolutely. Me and my buddy at church had actually went crappie fishing, and brought about 80 home for a church fish fry. When they quit biting he cut a shad in half and caught a smaller flathead. I cut me one, and that one hit within a minute, caught a nice hybrid that night also.

Those speckles are good eating. Caught some on my mountain trout spinner rod. that first hit is like oh crap I've got a monster. Then it's like oh yeah it's just a trout.
