MATCH CENTRAL: UT vs. Queens University
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee closes out its non-conference schedule on Sunday, hosting Queens University in a matinee at 1 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed on SECN+.

Queens (0-2-3) is looking for its first win of the season, having tied Morehead State 1-1 in its most recent outing.
This is the first meeting between the two programs.

SCOUTING THE ROYALS: Queens is competing in NCAA Division I for the first time this season, having gone 16-5-1 in Division II in 2021. The Royals went 9-1-1 in the South Atlantic Conference last season, finishing runner-up in the conference tournament before advancing to the NCAA Second Round. Queens returns 22 players from the 2021 squad and welcomes nine newcomers.
VS ASUN: UT is 5-0-2 all-time against ASUN schools. The two ties came a week apart during the 2015 season in the form of scoreless draws against Liberty and Lipscomb.

Jaida Thomas has now tallied seven goals over the last five games, moving her career total to 32. She creeps within one goal of tying Hannah Wilkinson at second all-time in career scoring at UT and trails No. 1 Kylee Rossi by only 11.
FEELS LIKE '98: UT has won the last three games by four, seven and five goals, respectively. The last time a Tennessee team won three straight games by four or more goals was in September 1998 when they defeated UNC Asheville (8-1), Xavier (4-0) and Arkansas (5-0).

Jaida Thomas has racked up seven goals and one assist in six games to lead the SEC in goals per game, points per game and total goals scored. Her 1.17 goals per game ranks fourth in NCAA Division I, and with 2.5 points per game, she ranks fifth nationally.
NO SOPHOMORE SLUMP: With three goals and four assists over five games,
Taylor Huff is averaging 2.00 ppg. to tie for second in the SEC and 15th in Division I.
TOP 10 NUMBERS: Tennessee has scored 19 goals on the year to tie for ninth in the country in scoring offense at 3.17. UT's 3.00 assists per game ties for eighth, and 9.33 points per game ties for ninth.
TENNESSEE ON TOP: The Lady Vols were picked to finish first in the SEC as voted on by the conference's 14 head coaches. UT is coming off a 2021 campaign in which it won a program-best 20 games, clinching an SEC Tournament Championship and going 20-3 en route to the NCAA Round of 16.
