ETSU women’s soccer welcomes Tennessee to Summers-Taylor Stadium​

Bucs-Vols to clash Thursday in Johnson City​


JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 21, 2024) – Part II of the Buccaneers' three-game home stand is set for Thursday night when ETSU women's soccer welcomes Tennessee to Summers-Taylor Stadium. Game time is set for 6 p.m.

  • The Bucs opened their home stand with a 1-0 win over Eastern Kentucky on Sunday
  • Grace Eatz scored the game-winner off a free kick in the 35th minute, resulting in her seventh career goal

  • Ashton Blair registered her 12th career shutout, which places her second all-time among Buccaneer leaders

I've heard that! There's been some murmurs of discontent with the draft for a while. Sophia Smith famously only agreed to play in the NWSL if she could be assured Portland would have the first pick. I think it will make the roles of head coach and front office so much more important.
