I almost hesitate to ask this because I know the team guards some internal things very closely...but its driving me insane.

I am 60 games into sitting near the dugout since moving. More than 500 innings.

When the opposing pitcher skips a pitch in front of home plate, one player yells something and the others yell back. What is it?

I can never make it out.

OH, MY GOSH! I'm so glad you asked this! I have the same issue, and you'd think I would've been able to make it out by now given some of the small crowds and very quiet games early in the season. It sounds like one of them yells, "Rock Skipper!" Then the others respond with something else. My best guess so far is "Bone Guzzler," but obviously that's not right (probably).

Ok, maybe we can narrow it down

From my side I hear “_______, skipper!”

And the the response sounds like “_______ gov’nor!”

“Rock skipper” would make sense because I can kinda hear them rolling the R in rock…
