When we signed with Nike, they wanted to make us the "Oregon of the East" in regards to uniform combos. Right now, we need every legal advantage we can get in recruiting. A high powered offense with highly talked about uniforms would go a long way with recruits.

Yeah, that’s not true in any way. That was never even discussed. Tennessee was always going to be on the conservative design side, and Nike knew that coming in.

Personally, I'd be okay with mixing up the Orange and White tops and bottoms, and bringing back the Smokey Gray, but Oregon of the East?

Kinda curios. Will they be locked on the idea of Traditional Uni's or will they Push for a combination of Traditional looks with an aggressive modern feel? I personally would like both!! I Love our Storm Troopers, but also would love a new high tech with attitude Uni. What's your thoughts? On the Uni's! not me! Or this post!

Polka dots. On everything. Any color will do. Older fans don’t want changes in our uniforms. I’m an older fan. Get off my lawn and leave the uniforms alone. Thank you, very much.

Wish we‘d go back to traditional number font, and black outlines on the away jerseys. We’re Tennessee, not Oregon or Louisville; even after one of the worst decade plus stretches in our history we’re top-10 all-time in wins. We should look like it, none of the teams above us jack around with their uniforms.

Get back to winning in that garish big orange and we’ll be cool to kids again. Don’t need Smokey gray or black uniforms or any of that nonsense.

Why switch to Nike when we had a better contract with Adidas, only to wear boring, unimpressive uniforms? Tradition is great, but there has been nothing creative done at all since the Smokey Greys. Pruitt and only wearing black cleats was God awful.

And let's dump the Davy Crockett thing forever. Even Fess Parker was over it. The VOLS looks good on license plates and knick knacks, but not helmets. And no Smokey on helmets or stuff either.
