What is really going to be interesting is how he is accepted in the locker room. We as fans are divided and surely the players are divided on how to feel so I think that will be interesting to watch how it plays out.
With all this chatter and news coverage and message board rants you don't think the players know the deal. I think that is naive.
They may have heard what happened yes, but most are just hearing about it and I don't think that they are going to form the same opinions about him as those that have followed this thing from the start. I don't think that the players are that shallow, so to speak. I would be willing to bet that Lane an Co. will educate them on the whole situation and honestly they will probably be better informed than most on here about the situation.
I don't think MOST see it that way.I don't think most understand that though BPV. They would rather crucify him for the rest of his life instead of letting him try to prove himself first.
I don't think MOST see it that way.
If we believe in rehabilitation in even the remotest way, this is a kid that we would take a chance on then hold up as a poster child.
Nobody is condoning anything he did, but many are willing to provide a redemptive second chance. The staff was willing because the kid is bright and knows he now lives in a very public fish bowl. He'll likely make the right decision when the time comes going forward.
are you out of your mind? You're from Navy.
As an aside, I don't see your point of view as a problem. This is a tough issue and I can fully understand someone coming down on the other side of the debate.
