The media was all set up to glorify Clemson. Go back watch the replay and compare the number of times the camera panned Clemson’s cheerleaders verses ours. The game just didn’t fit the media’s narrative of how the game was going to play out.

I ceased being a Keith Jackson fan after a watched the replay of that game.

Yeah I’d agree. While I simply don’t listen to much commentating either on game day or throughout the week I’ve always found Greg to be very fair to UT. Sometimes those ex players will go way to the other side to keep from being called a “homer” and personally I think Greg might be one.

Maybe it was balanced, overall. I thought it was generally pretty balanced. But there is no way you took that Clubnic Lovefest as normal. No way ... or either you didn't really watch it.

I really thought we would lose this game without hooker and Hyatt and others so glad we won and shut Clemson and Dabo up it was a great capper to a great season.

I've watched it twice. You do realize most of that "lovefest" was scripted, right? No, it didn't bother me because I know they weren't slighting UT. I'm not as hypersensitive as some of our fans.

EXACTLY... and if you were paying attention, it wasn't even his last game. He came out of retirement and did (I think) more than one game later on. So we had to suffer through that, for no reason. Also, that was John Ward's last game.

Why would anyone get angry over a replay of a game we won over 6 months ago? Because it featured a story of Clemson's freshman QB?

Again, only the thin skinned, hypersensitive crowd would rehash it. Embarrassing

I have watched it twice this year. Every Miami possession of the second half began the same way.

"The Miami comeback we all know with certainty is coming, is about to begin."

and eventually it changed to, "It is getting late in the game for Miami's comeback to begin."

The pace that Tennessee plays at under Heupel really puts into focus how bad Bob is about not giving distance to make for a 1st down ... He will give you the down, but you pretty much have to keep up with yards-to-go yourself ... or he'll just say 3rd and short .... but "short" is anything less than 5 yards.

Also, I get tired of hearing "Check that" when listening to him botch a call. Somebody needs to tell him to just roll with it, when he misidentifies a player.

Haven't watched the replay yet but what I do remember is our front 7 absolutely getting after Clemson. You can have all the open WR's u want but it doesn't mean a thing if your QB is getting abused. I almost felt sorry for the kid. He is probably still seeing Beasley in his sleep. That guy was out there dropping the sledgehammer.
