1-3-1 zone

sIAP, but thought Stokes's comments in the news-senseless about using the zone were interesting. I'm paraphrasing, but it was something like "I just call it smart (referring to using the zone). I'm surprised Coach Martin decided to use it."

Obviously this can be interpreted many ways...with one being that CCM usually doesn't make the 'smart' coaching moves.

Either way...IMO now that's it's been used, future teams will be better prepared for it than 'bama was, so I don't expect it to be nearly as effective.

he thinks the same as we do. Needed to use it, but CM appeared stuck in his ways in man to man.
And most here think if he does this for 8-10 games last year, we make the tourney with at least 2-3 more w's.

I'll agree with this. At least 4 more wins if we change it up and go 1-3-1.
