While absolutely true, it's still not an easy thing to accept when 90+ percent of society is different. Add in faith, family dynamics, and bullying and its understandable why suicide attempts remain higher than peer groups. The community has often argued that suicide was a major cause to their poorer results. That is gonna lose traction now, as homosexuality is very accepted now.

See the Doctors from the “Vanderbilt Pediatric Transgender Clinic”?Do you know how much money these hospitals make chopping up children? It is huge profit, a ton more money than providing folks with mental heath treatment. The only thing legitimate about this sick thing is the money the hospitals put in the bank.
So I have been wondering what your thoughts are but was not going to ask. But now I will. One more point on societal acceptance. In the last year or so we've seen a bit of a shift primarily due to the trans topic. In some places, like here in Florida, we're seeing more pushback. Might be a hiccup, might be something more.

Your ability to reason is inherently disrupted by mental illness. It's what makes it an illness.
One of the most fascinating is the Beluga. When females reach sexual maturity, some stay with their birth pod, some move on to other pods.Really interesting. Got a link?
Mental illness can involve thinking, emotion, and/or behavior. 1 or any combo of those.
I am assuming you have never met gCB yet claim he is one of the most reasonable posters on here. It is completely conceivable that he could suffer from depression, you could never know it, and he still establish himself as one of the most reasonable posters on here in your eyes
It would depend on the mental illness, no? It's very possible for someone to be rational and highly functional in most respects while having a mental illness.Your ability to reason is inherently disrupted by mental illness. It's what makes it an illness.
You are discussing function. That is different.
Only somewhat related, but it’s interesting hearing trans people scream that they are somehow victims of a “genocide.”What is the average lifespan of a homosexual male versus a heterosexual male human?
