Constantly? Really? That’s not even close to accurate but you hate joe all you want.
Yes, constantly is what I said. I haven’t been hating Joe I’m just being honest. We are 5-1 right now because of our defense and the running game. Also I was a big Milton supporter prior to the season. If you don’t believe it, just go back and look at my post dating back to last year. I was convinced he had his accuracy issues fixed and he was gonna stop playing soft.

Joe has at least 5 bad throws every game. Yes the WR need to also catch the ones that hit them in the hands and in stride, but Milton accuracy is a big issue. That equates to about 20-25% of his passes every game. I also look at the numbers and they are not good. I don’t care if it’s Nico or Moore that plays QB, as long as they can manage the game and get the play in without looking at the sideline like a deer in the headlights look. If Milton wasn’t still making the same mistakes mid-season and had shown improvement, not many people would be calling for change. But when you have a 5th year senior still making freshman mistakes, it’s frustrating and deflating. Also if the coaches trusted him the play calling would be different. I believe the play calling is handicapped and Joe is limited with the play book mentally and physically. But don’t take my word for it let’s look at some numbers. Milton has gotten worse since last year. When he was coming and playing behind Hooker, he was on point and couldn’t miss.

VA- 21/30, 201yds, 2TD, 64.3 QBR-W
APSU- 21/33, 228yds, 2TD, 35.1 QBR-W
UF- 20/34, 287yds, 2TD, 1int 48.8QBR-L
UTSA- 18/31, 209yds, 2TD’s, 84.1 QBR-W
SC- 21/39, 239yds, 1TD, 2int 43.8 QBR -W
aTm-11/22,100yds, 1TD, 1int 63.1 QBR -W

Milton is averaging 6.9yds per pass
Milton in 2022 averaged 11.8yds per pass

Wright is averaging 7.1yds per carry, while Milton is 6.9yds per pass. The QB position is holding this team back and that’s all there is to it.

The offense just put 200+ rushing yards on one of the top rated defenses against the run in the nation. Milton can dink and dunk good enough to punish them for loading the box. It isn’t all doom and gloom.
I ain’t just plumb giddy bout this offense but it isn’t as bad as y’all making it out to be.
Bamas defense is no joke. Also, Saban is a much better defensive mind than Durkin. Bamas secondary is much better than anyone we have faced. Milton and these WRs will have to step up big time for us to stand a chance at winning. There is a reason why we are such big under dogs.

Should we be pissed for grinding out a win against ASPU?
Brother, if I remember right, we all were. Thing is, this obviously ain't last years team, we could lose out, we could win out...neither of which are likely...but most folks even now, only remember the W from that game. Hopefully, the team is remembering lessons learned and looking forward, even Milton. I'm pulling for him to rise to the occasion the next few weeks. We'll see. Otherwise, the 0-9 has been broken...are you ok with that? I like our team and staff learning to win through adversity...

THEY NEED A QB!! How all of a sudden overnight did they just start to suck?
Talking football with you people is utterly useless.

Without Jaylen Wright this is a 3-3 team right now.

Joe Milton and his low IQ football are holding this team back.

Texas A&M is a BADLY coached team.
USC jr has no talent. We won those games because Heupel is a good coach who can see when need to go in a certain direction.

ONE dude is the problem.
Keyton can't catch a cold this year dude. Keyton can get open all day and Milton delivers it to his hand and he hot potatoes it and drops it. This has happened multiple times this year. Keytons dropped pases was the difference between 100 yards and almost 200 yards passing and the difference.between 50% and 63%. If Keyton catches what he should we aren't even talking about Joe.

This may have been mentioned, but haven't seen it. Our 1st win under Heupel after trailing at HT. I'm sure you guys saw it, under Josh we were 0-9 when trailing at HT and 22-0 when leading. Finally got that 1st Dub when trailing. If we play this sloppy next week with all those penalties and being one dimensional, we get killed. We all know Saban is going to load the box next week and make Milton beat them. And he's yet to prove he can, he actually gets worse instead of better every week.

Has Bama killed anyone this seaaon? What makes you think theyre going to score a bunch on this dedense while also stopping our ground game?

A&M came into Saturday allowing an average of 84 yards in the ground. That average jumped dramatically by Sunday.

Bama is no doubt good enough to win this game but i have a difficult time seeing the team that barely slipped by Arky this past Saturday, I blowing us out.

We’re such big underdogs because of betting perception. A&M’s defense was no joke til the three pronged running attack hit them.
Roll over and give em your belly if ya want, that’s up to you, but there are some reasons for optimism.

It’s not just Joe, Keyton and these “stud” receivers need to step up. Doesn’t matter who is at QB1 if they don’t catch it. We’ve dropped at least 3/4 open touchdown passes this year on easy catches. That’s not counting the harder catches. A receiver is a lot like a first baseman, it’s not always gonna be pretty but you’re expected to catch it. I’m not saying Joe is playing great or even good but it’s not as bad as it appears. 🤷‍♂️
Maybe the "Who" that's at QB1 is a big reason for all the drops.

Yea its Joe's fault the WR catch radius is that of a midget...its Joe fault that even if he throws a perfect ball its 50/50 on the catch...it Joe's fault that the WR can't get separation from even the likes of UTSA...come on... Joe hasn't been perfect, but even when he has made the plays his receivers have let him down....dont even get started on the pass blocking..

Lack of effort, settling for running out of bounds instead of making an effort to get that extra yard or so

I think Heupel may have had a talk with him about it, judging by the way he ran over a defender later in the game. The defender was probably as shocked as we were that Milton didn't just run out of bounds.

My problem is this was not the first time Milton has done this. His interception in the end zone was the same as it was the week before. He does’t appear to learn from his previous mistakes.

to put that in better context... UT is 1-2 when trailing at the half since the beginning of last year. The other losses came in the 1st year.

I think Milton needs more designed runs. Even if he were running the passing game well, playing at Bama would be a huge challenge.

UT can do what it does well and win the game if the D plays like it did vs A&M. Throw the WR screens to keep the D honest. Run from tackle in. Add designed runs for Milton and you've got a formula for beating Bama.
