Yes, constantly is what I said. I haven’t been hating Joe I’m just being honest. We are 5-1 right now because of our defense and the running game. Also I was a big Milton supporter prior to the season. If you don’t believe it, just go back and look at my post dating back to last year. I was convinced he had his accuracy issues fixed and he was gonna stop playing soft.Constantly? Really? That’s not even close to accurate but you hate joe all you want.
Joe has at least 5 bad throws every game. Yes the WR need to also catch the ones that hit them in the hands and in stride, but Milton accuracy is a big issue. That equates to about 20-25% of his passes every game. I also look at the numbers and they are not good. I don’t care if it’s Nico or Moore that plays QB, as long as they can manage the game and get the play in without looking at the sideline like a deer in the headlights look. If Milton wasn’t still making the same mistakes mid-season and had shown improvement, not many people would be calling for change. But when you have a 5th year senior still making freshman mistakes, it’s frustrating and deflating. Also if the coaches trusted him the play calling would be different. I believe the play calling is handicapped and Joe is limited with the play book mentally and physically. But don’t take my word for it let’s look at some numbers. Milton has gotten worse since last year. When he was coming and playing behind Hooker, he was on point and couldn’t miss.
VA- 21/30, 201yds, 2TD, 64.3 QBR-W
APSU- 21/33, 228yds, 2TD, 35.1 QBR-W
UF- 20/34, 287yds, 2TD, 1int 48.8QBR-L
UTSA- 18/31, 209yds, 2TD’s, 84.1 QBR-W
SC- 21/39, 239yds, 1TD, 2int 43.8 QBR -W
aTm-11/22,100yds, 1TD, 1int 63.1 QBR -W
Milton is averaging 6.9yds per pass
Milton in 2022 averaged 11.8yds per pass
Wright is averaging 7.1yds per carry, while Milton is 6.9yds per pass. The QB position is holding this team back and that’s all there is to it.
