#1 Alabama (8-0) at #3 LSU (7-1) Game Thread (CBS, 8PM EDT)

LSU is lucky it’s only 9-0. Bama is moving the ball pretty easily. If LSU can go on a long, clock-eating drive and score this could be a somewhat interesting second half. 3 and out and they may be in trouble.

Hopefully it’s a good game. Death Valley is a hard place to play under the lights.

It’ll be a good game and it’ll be a real SEC game, with real SEC players....something Tennessee no longer knows anything about.

I’m even halfway convinced that Pruitt, who cut his teeth at Bama and is only 1 year removed from coaching there, likely no longer knows what real football is and what real sec football players look like after spending 10 months in Knoxville. Nothing can help Tennessee....in fact, a little time in Knoxville with the Volunteers program will dull and eventually destroy any coach who comes here.

coach O needs some points

a few more O linemen and a good Quarterback and LSU will be dangerous

Correct.

Tigers defense will be gassed early if they cant stay off the field.

Did ref grab the flag @ end of that play then not throw it while QB was getting shoved?

Burrows getting pressured a lot now. Their D is playing decent right now but offense needs points or this is over by mid 3rd....

Remarkable that a program like LSU hasn’t been able to recruit a top flight quarterback in the past 12-13 years.

IMO, they've had so much talent at key positions elsewhere, they haven't needed one. Just someone who is serviceable and a good game manager.
