If you are talking about the play i watched not only did he hold, but he held with his right hand then let go and held with the left hand BEFORE the ball got there.
I’m not saying there wasn’t contact, but I didn’t think it was that egregious .
 
For all those who hate shotgun on 4th & 1 from Heupel, Bama has also done that every time
 
Well said... Bama has been on top for far to long. Someone needs to knock them down if it isn't us.

I mean under Fulmer, he was successful against Bama so it’s not like we’ve always struggled with them.

Florida lives rent free in their heads every year and I’m sick of it.

I’m not saying there wasn’t contact, but I didn’t think it was that egregious .
Watch the replay again. I think he was holding the receiver about a full 5 yards with the right hand then switched the hold to the left hand while deflecting the ball with his right hand. If Db’s were allowed to do this all the time a Qb would never be able to complete a pass

When it's that minor I think the ref ought to be looking at whether it really made a difference in the play, and that was far from the case on that play.
