Oregon or Auburn to win NC?

Auburn has seen nothing like what Oregon is going to put on the field offensively, and Oregon's defense is much faster up front than a typical Big Ten defense.

Maybe, but I heard the same thing last week with Bama's all 5 star talent at running back and wide receiver and senior QB.

I want Oregon to win, but Newton can beat any team by himself. He did refer to his teammates as his "supporting cast" after the game tonight afterall. :whatever:

I will enjoy hearing the reasons behind Oregons loss.

Although probably like Cal football fan Droski, they will not post here during the rest of January after the loss.

I'm sure I'll be around for you to rub it in when it is all said and done. Oregon will run away with this one.

Im just saying Auburn simply has more talent than any other team right now in college football, no matter the coach the better talented team won.

You're saying Auburn as a whole is more talented than LSU or Alabama?

Their offense is based off one player being exceptional. Take that away and they're at best a 7-5 team.

Oregon is 2 minutes away from winning and Auburn is up by 21 points.

With that being said, I will be pulling for Auburn. Followed by Auburn being stripped of the championship.

:loco:

Nope. After reading the "As the Plains Burns" thread on tigerdroppings.com (very detailed), I'm convinced that Auburn football, Auburn boosters, the Auburn coaches (including our own TT), Cecil Newton, and Cam Newton are as filthy as it gets.

Can't pull for that...sorry.

Not that it matters who wins. When the hammer finally falls, and it will, Auburn football will have a black eye, and NCAA sanctions, that will take years to recover from. If ever. Ask SMU about that one.

Enjoy your completely hollow victories, Auburn fans. After the NCAA erases you from the FBS map, you can always go back and watch the videos of the season that never was.....

Go Vols.

I remember hearing something about how one of Calhoun's favorite patrons had predicted Tennessee would beat Oregon. There's no way he could have been wrong, so how is Oregon in the title game?

Was he the same guy predicting UT to go 12-0 this year?

2 years in a new program and playing for a NC. Yep, utter buffoon.

AU dropped $200k on him and rode perhaps the greatest single season by any player in sec history to a bcs championship game. That does not make Chizik a good coach.

Auburn may well put up a bunch of points early and lead at the half, but in second half I see Oregon pulling away like they did against so many teams.

Go ducks.

where does the 200K number come from? I know Cecil asked for 180 from MSU but was turned down. Maybe they got him for 50K? 100K? 0K?

Is there a legit 200K source?

Watch what happens to Chizik after Cam leaves, his mediocrity won't be drawn out over 7 years like Fulmer's was.

What are you basing your coaching evaluation on? Record? Specific play calling?

He's 21 - 5 at Auburn. He was D-coord on an undefeated Auburn team and Texas team. He was 5 - 19 at ISU. How do you determine he's a mediocre coach?

Richt's record is amazing. Fulmer's overall was excellent. I wouldn't use coaches records as the sifting factor. Both Chizik's D-coord jobs rode the back of a great offense. Mahlzan is a good coach, Chizik is nothing special.

Still stalking.

Thanks though.

I did say TN would beat Oregon. I made the prediction before we lost half of our DL.

I predicted we would win 8 games. I was wrong about Oregon and Georgia.
