This is the best defensive team Cal has had IMO. I didn't follow a lot of his teams at Tiger High or UMASS, but he has these freshmen playing good defense. You don't always get that with a bunch of 5 *.

Miller getting his 2nd early could be big. Jones is riding the pine because he didn't bring it early. Goulborne was having his way with him early. That is one of the matchups I thought would be big.

I thought Teague would be Ky's undoing eventually. He is not a Wall or Knight, but if Ky continues to play defense like they have then they won't need a superstar at PG. They'll just need him to manage the game and could win it all.

If Ky can keep Candy off the boards, they'll win this one fairly comfortably.

Candy is missing FT's too.

Davis is the player of the year IMO. He completely changes the game. I'm glad he'll go pro after this year. Dude is one of the best players that has ever played in the SEC. If he stayed all 4 years, he'd go down as one of the best of all time.

I enjoy watching Davis and MKG.

Sad that not many great college players are there for 3 to 4 years. It's almost like career stats will never be broken because the best players always one and done.

Teague silently propelling the Cats tonight. Playing some great minutes.

I enjoy watching Davis and MKG.

Davis is unreal. Hard to believe he's just a freshman. Dude just has a natural talent at blocking shots.

If Jones has his head on straight, Ky is virtually unbeatable. Again, I thought Teague would be their undoing, but they play such hellacious defense that it doesn't matter. A lot of times you get high schoolers that don't know how to play defense. These kids do.

Teague is such an enigma. Never says much in the media, but is effective. He seems like he's just serving his time before going to the league.

If Cal could get this group to come back, they'd win 2-3 titles IMO. If they had Wall or Knight, good Lord.

If he just is a caretaker, I think Ky wins it all. He doesn't need to do much. He has so much talent around him that he doesn't need to.
