Well, ESPN talking up the Duke/Syracuse faux rivalry. You'd never know that was a game without the Duke Sports Network known as ESPN plugging it. But it does make sense. Two elitist private schools with students who probably all went to high school together in New York and New Jersey. It kind of makes sense really. I guess next year UNC and Lville can be another rivalry.
I hate Duke, but that was a charge every day of the week.
Based on the current rules, probably so, but that bush league play has been Duke's bread and butter for years. In lieu of playing actual defense they just undercut guys going to the rim and try to take a charge. At least the NCAA has taken done steps to curb that garbage, but the restricted zone still needs to be enlarged to the same size as the NBA.
'Cuse is far from snobby
I'd have to go back and look at the timing. I guess maybe you could argue whether the defender set his feet after the offensive player jumped, but it looked to me like a call that the defense almost always gets.

Bottom line though is Boeheim can't pull that crap in that situation. Bad block/charge calls happen and there was still time left.
Said it last week, but yeah, Syracuse's offense will keep them from a championship. I think Virginia might be the best team in the ACC (they'll win the reg season title), which is insane.
If I had to pick a Final Four right now, I'd go Florida/Duke/Villanova/wild card (I can't bring myself to pick Louisville because their SOS is atrocious). Like the last couple of years, I could see anything happening
