Missouri and lsu are not in the upper half. They beat Missouri without Brady, and lsu has gotten their butts kicked for 3 straight weeks. It’s not wrong to compare , if Georgia was 9-3 they would be screaming to be in the playoffs we have just as much as a right as ole miss , bama.

it’s all over social media. We suck , we don’t deserve the playoffs blah blah. If Georgia had lost this game their fans would be screaming for them to be in. We need to do the same thing bc we have just as good a resume as ole miss and bama and several teams ahead of us.

You can compare all you want, Alabama's SEC schedule looks better than ours. Yes we beat them, but they beat UGA. So. It's a wash. And the fact is Tennessee's feasted on the worst teams in the SEC this year. 5-5, 5-5, 4-6, and 2-8. That's not going to work in Tennessee's favor, if we're being compared head to head with Alabama. Even if we beat them - which we did - they'll be looking at a pile of teams at 10-2, and start assessing overall SOS to work out who was the "best."

Sucks with how the records play out this year. Just the right amount of teams to be top heavy in the B1G conference. On the other hand in the SEC we have a log jam of same records. We lost the game of significance on a day it was the featured game for the world to see. Going forward the teams we need help from in front of don't close with great teams. I mean a couple are rivalry games so crazy things happen but realistically we need to root for Texas because if A&M gets in the SEC championship and wins it they are in, Texas will be in for 2nd loss coming in extra game. Then of Alabama, Ole Miss and Georgia we are not getting help from Florida and most of all Mississippi State for Ole Miss, nor Oklahoma or Auburn, nor UMASS and Georgia Tech. None of that includes the other conferences.

what about ole miss wanna throw up their opponents records ? What about Texas ? Alabama has a resume that should be deadlocked bc of the head to head . Good god use all this to fight for Tn to be in the playoffs not cry we shouldn’t be
